  31. In the gamestat/ sub folder where Dark Colony is
  32. installed, you'll find a few text files. To change game
  33. settings like sounds and weapon damage, edit these. Any
  34. text editor, such as Notespad and TextPad can be used.
  35. A good file to start with is weapstat.txt. For example, to
  36. get some pretty cool human troopers, change the first
  37. entry to:

  42. Editing these files are not very easy, and some
  43. experimenting is necessery in order to get cool results.
  44. However, it can be fun.

  48. From the game menu, type "ss adn" and then use these codes:

  55. Take a look in the Dark Reign subfolders. Here you'll find
  56. many text files, such as units.txt, where you can change
  57. everything from the units' firepower to sounds. Edit them
  58. with an ordinary text editor like Notespad or TextPad.

  151. Use Town portal. Set an item you want to duplicate in
  152. front of the portal. Click with the mouse on the item, and
  153. step through the portal. When you reach the town the
  154. item will be back in your inventory. Go back through the
  155. portal to pick up the original.

  157. To take screen shots in Diablo, press Print Screen. The
  158. images will be saved in your Diablo directory as PCX images.
